Artist Statement:
Art shares. Art heals. Art comforts. Art is a friend. I have made it my life’s work to ensure that I help others to see the beauty in the real and the imagined through art. There is no category to which my art belongs. I experiment and play and work with all styles and genres. My greatest joy is the connection that is made between myself and my viewer. I create scenes of grandparents holding grandchildren they never got to see…of beloved pets…of cultural icons… of tiny pieces of life.
My subject matter is everything that can be seen, imagined, felt, missed, longed for and treasured. In other words, it is life itself. My purpose is expression and connection. Sometimes the best communication has no words at all and the connection that happens when one of my pieces touches someone is magic.
